The 3rd Annual Kaua'i Wellness Expo - "For Your Well Being" is being held on January 27-28, 2007 at the Kaua'i War Memorial Convention Center in Lihue from 9:00am-5:00pm on Sat, 27th and 9:00am-4:00pm on Sun, 28th.

Expo Admission is $5 per day or $8 for both days, children under 12 and seniors are free.

Kaua'i's health and wellness professionals come together for this exciting two-day event to share their knowledge on combining Eastern and Western medical philosophies for a healthy and balanced life. Two days filled with inspiring speakers, motivating workshops and over 60 exhibiters for a hands on experience.

He has written numerous New York Times bestselling books and has created a number of audios and videos. He has appeared on thousands of television and radio programs, including The Today Show and Oprah.

The Wellness Expo is a great place to jump start your New Year's resolutions for having a healthy in mind, body and spirit in 2007. This is an opportunity to learn from over 30 different motivational speakers and mini workshops addressing a variety of topics including personal, financial, and spiritual health. There will also be exercise workshops such as Qigong, Roller Ball and Bikram Yoga. Over 60 exhibit booths are featured with a chance to experience massage, Reiki, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, aromatherapy, feng shui and other healing techniques. Healthy foods and unique products such as gems and jewelry and nutritional information will be available to Kaua'i's residents and visitors.

Wellness Expo 2007 - Speaker Schedule

The Wellness Expo is the brainchild of Char Ravelo, publisher of Inspiration, Hawaii's Wellness Journal. "Five years ago, I envisioned a holistic journal filled with articles pertinent to daily life, written by Kaua'i's professional health practitioners and healers. Words that educate, motivate, and provoke us to look at ourselves, families, friends, our community, thus guide us towards having healthier and balanced lives. Expo 2005 was a success with over 60 exhibitors, 20 speakers and 500 plus visitors. Expo 2006, was our first two-day event with keynote Barbara De Angelis, PhD. It was a super success with over 60 exhibitors, 30 speakers, and 1400 visitors. Now it's time to bring the Health and Wellness community together again for another two days of networking, learning and sharing. Why not start the new year off right with an event that is fun and energizing for the whole island! It has been a deep desire, of mine, to provide an avenue for positive learning and synergy in group settings, a place where leaders in the health and wellness industry have an opportunity to meet and work towards our common goal of building a stronger community on Kaua'i."

The LOHAS (Lifestyles Of Health And Sustainability) market is a rapidly growing $227 billion industry and expos are a high touch form of marketing. In response to the need for promotional support and economic stability in the health and wellness industry, a newly formed non-profit organization the Kaua'i Health and Wellness Association (KHWA) provides a unified voice for its members.
